World traveler Danny Milton popped link over to Switzerland, as one does, to check in with Omega, who just released a new Speedmaster Super Racing. Perhaps I should have seen how overwhelmed I was, flitting between wildly different possibilities as I worked with a much larger watch budget than ever before, this arbitrarily justified by the impending end of my fifth decade. It had to help settle my shifting sense of self as I faced mortality head-on. This watch and I would ride out the third trimester of life as one.

Under new direction by Robert Hocq and Alain-Dominique Perrin, Les Must de Cartier was born (French for "these Cartiers are a must," or "You must buy them").
