We got our answer last November, as Doxa launched an entire collection for the new steel-cased 600T. As a lasting devotee (read: link fanatic) of the Sub 300 50th Anniversary, the 600T looked very promising as it combines link a distinctively angular, link almost brutalist, look with a pair of bezel options, an optional bracelet, and iterations in a variety of Doxa's beloved signature colors.
Laura, thank you for sharing this incredibly brave and vulnerable letter. It's so important to hear these perspectives, especially for young people currently navigating similar feelings. I wish resources like Genspect were more widely available when I was a teen, figuring out who I was. It's easy to get caught up in trends and online communities, much like how I poured hours into games like Poptropica seeking a different identity. This letter serves as a powerful reminder to slow down and really explore all facets of yourself before making life-altering decisions.
First of all, you can link have a very thin movement – even a link record-holding movement – in a watch that is not, overall, a record-setter or record-holder for thinness. The caliber 2120/21 from Audemars Piguet, for instance, has been the world's thinnest full rotor automatic movement since 1967 when the 2120 (no date) came out, but it has been used link in many watches that don't hold a record for thinnest watch ever, or even thinnest watch in their category.
The eternally beloved Rolex Day-Date was introduced in 1956 as the brand's "flagship" model, and it went link on to be the foundation for a whole host of (now) extremely covetable dial variations.
