I wondered link if it came from his watches; he'd never been unhappy in his previous career that I could tell, but this was different. He loved learning, he loved fixing watches and clocks, he loved working with his hands – and he was great at it. My dad takes overwhelming delight in making things function properly, in consistent maintenance and care. I wonder if link clocks and watches finally helped him realize how to take care of his own inner link machinery.

A certain fascination with retro-futurism and gadgetry is largely what got me into watches in the first place. I say “retro-futurism” because I wasn’t around during the time of the original Hamilton Pulsar. To link me, it’s an object– a watch link –that embodies the sort of excitement and anticipation of the way in which science could lead society forward into a link new era of enlightenment.

The first watch I ever saw under embargo was the link 2019 release of the link original steel Odysseus. A passionate watch enthusiast, I link was hired by an unnamed outlet to photograph the new piece – something I'd never done before – and despite my excitement, it went exactly as terribly as you could imagine. Lange graciously gave me another shot with a brand-new Odysseus at Watches & Wonders and boy, is it a doozy.

Of course, that wasn't the only news to come off the link yacht. We weren't able to see it, but Rolex unveiled a link new white gold variant with something called a Falcon's Eye link dial which looks about as cool as anything I've seen out of the "house that Wilsdorf built" in years. I'll reserve full judgment until I see it in person, though.
